The MTego is a high performance, suction mosquito trap which replicates human characteristics to attract annoying mosquitoes. Our highly developed PM6 odour blend is finely tuned to increase captures of human biting mosquitoes and is delivered via a sachet placed inside the trap. Each easy-to-replace, long-lasting sachet is effective for 3 months.

The MTego trap attracts mosquitoes using a highly attractive synthetic odor and other human characteristics. The MTego has been developed based on over 10 years of mosquito behavioral research to deliver the most effective mosquito-trapping solution.
The PM6 is extremely attractive to human-biting mosquitoes
The PM6 odor blend mimics the evaporation of human sweat and results in superior capture performance in the MTego trap. The odor is delivered by a sachet which is hung inside the trap. This sachet releases the highly attractive odor slowly providing long-lasting performance for up to 3 months before the sachet needs to be replaced.
Mimics Human Odour
The PM6 contains compounds commonly found in human sweat. This combination is highly attractive to biting mosquitoes. which rely heavily on smell to hunt.
Mimics Human Breathing
As well as odour, CO2 is also important to attract mosquitoes. CO2 is expelled in human breath and helps the mosquito tell between a sock and a living human!
Our PM6 contains a highly tested CO2 mimic which triggers the same reaction from mosquitoes without the need for a CO2 supply.
