The Exoroach Trap
The Exoroach Trap offers a simple and natural catching mechanism. Placed near to where cockroaches have been seen, the insects will encounter the Exoroach as they follow their normal foraging activity looking for food and harborage sites, particularly at night. Sensing the food lure tablet provided, they will be attracted into the trap. On entering, they climb up the ramp onto the specially designed bridge treated with EntostatTM powder. The particles of EntostatTM cling to the cockroach feet and tarsal segments, preventing them from maintaining a strong grip and causing them to fall onto the glue board below from which they cannot escape.

H Trap
The H Trap - a novel selective fly trap developed for outdoor use by Alcochem Hygiene.

Horseflies are a very painful nuisance when they bite humans and animals to feed on blood. Their larvae hibernate in damp conditions around watercourses, lakes, ponds or marshy ground then the adults emerge from April onwards and present a constant problem to nearby horses, cattle and human. The H-trap has been cleverly designed to take advantage of the horse flies natural behavior and independent tests have achieved 90- 95% reduction in populations.
Using 'nature' to trap
The horse fly uses sight not smell to find its prey so the H Trap has a large inflated rubber ball that the fly believes is an animal, is tempted to land on and bite. The horse fly can only 'take off' vertically so the upper half of the rubber ball of the H-Trap has a conical hood suspended over it which forces the fly into the entry point at the base of the funnel trap. Once the fly has entered there is no 'upward' escape route and it drowns in soapy water.
The horse fly only produces one generation per year and so for maximum population reduction H Traps should be in place just before the first adults emerge around late April.

Spring Wire System
